ALT was formed in 2011 by the team of directors, entering into the already competitive world of anilox rolls was a bold decision and not taken lightly.
The business was created with some very firm beliefs and values.
Although we entered a very competitive industry we had a belief in what made us the ALTernative supplier within the anilox roll and sleeve industry and this came down to four key elements.

From the concept of the business in 2011 continual investment in our People, Equipment, Research and Development, Buildings and the Environment have always been our core beliefs. Our open approach and positive attitude make dealing with Anilox Laser Technology a very easy experience. Our values of good old-fashioned service and an open and honest relationship with all our customers ensures for a strong partnership.

Manufacturing Facility

We have continually invested since 2011 and operate using Fibre-Optic laser engraving technology capable of engraving up to 4700mm face length. This technology eliminates the use of gases and is a static low power system using very highly efficient multi beam technology. The RH Optronic Ultra laser systems allow us to produce highly consistent engraving up to 790l/cm. Our state of the art software also helps us to develop innovative cell shapes such as our Nano Technology.

We have a commitment to cell development and are constantly investing time to develop these areas with our customers.

Coating Division

Our Plasma Ceramic coating division newly opened in May 2020, houses state of the art equipment. The Plasma thermal spraying system supplied by Metallisation UK Ltd was specifically designed for the application of our ceramic coating.

Nano Technology

The NANO cell is an elongated cell but it is significantly longer than any other type of elongated geometry available in the market.

Key factors of the NANO geometry are that we are still using a closed cell sructure and therefore can control the volume very accurately and consistently with repeatable results and we can maintain maximum release due to the unique structure of the cell.
